Profile
Leslie has worked extensively in the family law realm, representing clients in child custody, property and maintenance actions in all levels of Court in Saskatchewan. Additionally, she is experienced in the specialized areas of child protection, maintenance enforcement, and interjurisdictional child custody matters, and has provided expert opinions on Saskatchewan law in the British Columbia Supreme Court. In the broader area of civil litigation, Leslie has prosecuted and defended cases related to commercial and insurance contracts, industrial processes and agricultural interests. She has also adjudicated and appeared as counsel in inquiries pursuant to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code and other administrative tribunals. Leslie served on the Saskatchewan Farm Land Security Board for 14 years, with 10 years as Chair, gaining extensive experience with farm financing, debt resolution, and farm ownership issues.
Currently, Leslie is an Adjudicator within the Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada (IAP) Process and an effective alternative dispute resolution practitioner.
