Profile

Brent carries on a general practice of law with emphasis in the areas of construction law, immigration law, administrative law, and civil litigation.  He has argued cases before all levels of Court in Saskatchewan, Federal Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Canada, as well as various administrative tribunals, including Immigration Appeal Board, Immigration and Refugee Board, and private arbitrations.

  • Lecturer, Bar Admission Course and CPLED, 1983 to present, in the areas of Construction Law and Builders' Liens, Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the role of the Law Society
  • Sessional Lecturer, University of Saskatchewan, College of Law, 1988-1990 -  Property Law II
