Profile

Leslie has practiced law in Saskatchewan for 34 years, and is a partner in the firm. Presently, her practice focusses on decision making in various capacities, although she continues to represent the Ministry of Social Services as senior counsel in child protection matters. She is an independent labor arbitrator and workplace investigator, and conducts hearings pursuant to the Canada Labor Code. Leslie was recently appointed to the Immigration Appeal Division of the IRB and is also a member of the Canadian Environmental Protection Tribunal. From 2008 to 2016, Leslie was an Adjudicator within the Independent Assessment Process created by the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. Prior to that appointment, Leslie served on the Saskatchewan Farm Land Security Board for 14 years, with 10 years as Chair, gaining extensive experience with farm debt resolution and farm ownership issues.


Leslie was elected as a Bencher for the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2015. She was elected VP of the Law Society for 2018 and is the President of the Law Society for 2019.
