Profile

Sheila has practiced law in Saskatchewan for over 34 years.  Since 1989 she has had an extensive arbitration practice and has been appointed to chair arbitrations for employers and unions throughout Saskatchewan. She was a member of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Tribunal from 2003 to 2011 and conducted hearings across Saskatchewan.  Currently she serves as an adjudicator and referee under the Canada Labour Code and conducts workplace harassment and misconduct investigations for public and private employers.

Sheila has been an Adjudicator in the Independent Assessment Process under the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement since 2007.  In that capacity, Sheila conducted hearings across the country and wrote hundreds of decisions, along with working on a special project involving jurisdictional analysis.
